My name is Roger Mitchell. My wife, Cindy and I have been married for almost 24 years. Currently we are taking care of five chickens, four goats, two cats, and a young mule deer which decided to live with us until winter is over. Our black Labrador, Lukey is getting on in years and will leave this world within a few years. I will miss him when he’s gone.
I make a living as a carpenter building new homes and renovating or remodeling existing ones. I have been working in construction for about 35 years. It’s the only thing I know how to do which provides me with a decent income.
I dropped out of high school halfway through 11th grade and have never pursued any other formal education. Experience alone has taught me a lot. Making mistakes and then learning from them has been my best teacher. I still have a long way to go.
Writing is an art and passion I have developed over the years and the wanton slaughter of unborn children is something that I have always hated. Finally, after 60 years of life, it is time to bring them together. Writing about the carnage known as abortion on demand
enables me to realize a desire I have held for a long, long time–to make a difference. This blog, To Make a Difference, is the result.
If you find that I have had a positive impact on your life in some way, large or small, I would like to hear from you. You can comment in the posts or e-mail me: zinsser@protonmail.com.
